Paedo-spotting with Dr Joe Sullivan...

Post by missbeetle on 16.04.15 8:00

Snipped from today's Mirror Online :

Complete with mis-spelling of poor Madeleine's name...

...and a most dubious story of an 80 year old man being busted by a PCSO (volunteer cop?)

after being spotted with a Viagra tablet and a condom at his home.

Dr Joe Sullivan... A friend of Flagging Jim's, I take it :

(snipped from mccannfiles.com, with thanks)

So I looked up a recent picture of this character :

(snipped from echo-news.co.uk)

His goatee beard and glam glasses -

- this guy gives me the absolute creeps.

My opinion only.

@ missbeetle

If you (or anyone else) has a few minutes to spare today (or tomorrrow, or the next day), then...

...please have a careful read of my article linking the McCanns to Joe Sullivan, along with the creepy Jim Gamble and creep/poseur Mark Williams-Thomas:

...and tell us what you think

And GM 'had left the building' before, BEFORE, there was a 'speech', by a USA 'cop', on, and talking about, FAKED 'abductions'!

"He later helped in the production of, and personally narrated, the 'A Minute for Madeleine' campaign video; an appeal directly to the person keeping a 'secret', about Madeleine, 'who knows who's involved in her disappearance' ('abduction' surely?)

Oh the 'irony'!

The former Deputy Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police, a REAL 'cop', who said, publicly,..........

"Kate and Gerry McCann are hiding a "big secret" about the disappearance of their daughter Madeleine,..."

"“I have a real suspicion that we are not being told the whole truth. There is something else there, some issue that members of the party are embarrassed about”

'KEEPING' THE 'SECRET'?

What do you think of 'that', Dr Joe Sullivan?

Here is another report on this issue:

--------------------------------------------

A plucky PCSO helped foil a sex offenders’ plans to abuse a girl just weeks after under taking revolutionary new training.

Adam Grundy, of Durham police, is among the 400 staff to receive training to help spot signs of child sexual exploitation.

The Intervene to Protect a Child (IPC) training was developed by Dr Joe Sullivan, an internationally renowned expert on child sexual abuse, and was first put in place by the Texas Rangers in the USA.

After a chance conversation with Mike Barton, chief constable of Durham police, the force commissioned a similar programme and after two weeks Mr Grundy has already helped prevent a girl under five from being sexually abused.

He said: “I went to an address visiting a gentleman.

“He was very stand offish, and referring back to the IPC training, that was one of the signs that was suggested to look out for.

“On the kitchen table he had a condom and a viagra tablet, this is a man in his 80s and I knew he posed a risk to children.”

Mr Grundy said despite previously enjoying a chatty relationship with the man, who is a convicted sex offender, he was reluctant to speak to him and asked him to leave.

Eventually he discovered he was going to be in contact with a young girl.

Immediately Mr Grundy contacted Durham Police public protection unit who then spoke to social services and stepped in.

Despite no criminal action being taken against the man, a written agreement has been put in place banning him from further contact with the child.

[PICTURE: Chief Constable Mike Barton and Dr Joe Sullivan]

Dr Sullivan said he was astonished by the speed the force had gained a positive result.

In Texas, where the training was first developed, they saved more than 150 young people from abuse within three years.

He added: “IPC is built on the Texas Rangers model but Anglicised.

“We’re targeting officers and frontline professionals not specifically working in protecting children but in terms of the frontline staff those coming into contact with children and families.

“It’s wonderful that here within two weeks of getting that training a child has already been protected.”

The training teaches police and some frontline service staff in the fire, health and education sectors, how to spot the hall marks which may be a sign of sexual exploitation of a child.

[PICTURE: PCSO Adam Grundy who is the first officer to help protect a child thanks to his training]

From explicit imagery on clothing and tattoos, to changes in behaviour patterns, the training helps give staff the confidence to express concerns where previously they may have remained silent despite feeling uncomfortable.

Mr Barton said he believes other forces will be keen to adopt the training after seeing the initial success in Durham.

He added: “So far 400 frontline staff have attended training together with 160 of our partners.

“Within two weeks one of my PCSOs recognised a situation and as a result of that we have protected a child.

“It’s about giving them [staff] confidence.”

 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This story is of interest for another reason; a former member of this forum, Rosalinda Hutton (recent picture below, left), a.k.a. Cristobell,

has today, in another place, leapt to the defence of the convicted ex offender and ignored the risk he posed to a 4-year-old girl who was due to visit him:

OMG, this has set my blood boiling, going do a reply later and probably a blog. An 80 year old found with a used condom - get a SWAT team out and put the army on standby! What a load of absolute bollox, it's official, we now have 'thought police'!

Nonce and nonsense spotting...

Post by missbeetle on 16.04.15 23:52

That story of the plucky PCSO is all a bit silly.

The elderly man was already a convicted sex offender.

Why was he being visited by the cops in the first place -

to the point of 'enjoying a chatty relationship' - ?

Who on earth keeps their sex aids on their kitchen table?

I'm more interested in the clothes'n'tattoos signifiers of paedophiles...

...how does that work? I would've said Jimmy Savile was obvious -

- but Myles Bradbury looked as benign as you get.

Lots of creepy men in this case, Tony -

- I don't think I can add anything to the INEQE thread not already said -

MWT can speak for his own dubious self in this picture from his website :

A goatee and a henna job... Looking the part.

My thoughts only.

SIMPLE:

Once you are on the Sex Offenders Register in the UK, and then released from prison, it is the job of the local police service to immediately assess whether you are either:

* High Risk

* Medium Risk

or

* Low Risk

...to children.

All sex offenders are regularly visited by the police, the frequency depending on the degree of risk they are assessed as continuing to pose.

Sadly, over-optimistic assessments, usuallly achieved by the utter deviousness of so many sex offenders, have led to many children being harmed.

During these police visits, no doubt the police endeavour to maintain a civil, or even 'chatty' relationship with the offenders they visit.

On the face of the story, a 4-year-old (5 in some accounts) was visiting this sex offender. The police became aware of that. Precautions were taken, and no harm came to the child - 'better be safe than sorry', as the saying goes.

I can't fathom how anyone can make light of this story

Jobs for the boys...

Post by missbeetle on 17.04.15 1:05

I'm glad that the little girl has been protected from this deviant pensioner...

...but this does seem an odd story to illustrate the efficacy of

'revolutionary new training' in spotting wrong'uns.

Did the policeman really need a Texas Rangers inspired course from Dr Joe Sullivan -

(commissioned 'after a chance conversation with Mike Barton')

to spot something was amiss with the convicted sex offender he was checking up on -

- seeing as the old perv was so bold as to not hide his condom/Viagra?

My thoughts only.
