Were Rev Haynes Hubbard's family witnesses in the Dave Edgar investigation?

Post by worriedmum on Sat 28 Mar 2015 - 16:04

I have just been looking at the 'Madeleine was Here' (part three) documentary.

Is this Reverend Haynes Hubbard's family?  Are they saying their parents used to live in Apartment 5a?

Who plays who...?

Post by missbeetle on Sat 28 Mar 2015 - 19:55

Hi worriedmum -

I believe young Gabriella Hubbard played the part of Tamsin Sillence -

- the schoolgirl whose grandparents used to live in Apartment 5a.

I don't know if that was her providing the commentary, though -

- not a trace of a Canadian accent.

I've never been able to find a cast list for the crockumentary -

- and I wonder who this child is in (?) Rev Fr Hubbard's arms :

As far as I can recall, some news articles had a daughter of the Hubbards playing Madeleine in this production -

- (?tennis girl) - yet I am told that the Hubbards do not have a girl child Madeleine's age.

It's all a bit mystifying! My opinion only.

I have a memory that it was actually a little boy.

Hey worriedmum -

- you are right, the lady is Mrs Susan Hubbard.

She's playing Tamsin Sillence's mother.

Hello Nina - the Hubbards have two sons - one much older - Sebastian -

(aged about 10 years in 2007) and Caspian - aged 5 months in May 2007.

Daughter Gabriella aged a year younger than Sebastian.

No known children whose ages are approximate to those of the McCann children.

P.S. At 7.40 in the video clip, a returning Gerry acknowledges Mrs Susan Hubbard -

- who has a sailor-suited baby Caspian in her arms.

P.P.S. This is snipped from a breakingnews.ie article from 8th September, 2007 :

The couple have also received great support from the wife of the local Anglican priest, Haynes Hubbard.

Susan Hubbard, who has children of a similar age to the twins, comforted Mrs McCann after her gruelling interview yesterday.

And she visited the McCanns' house this morning to show her support, taking them some chocolate croissants.

Confusion is near to Godliness...?

"A father and daughter"...?

I do think that baby is Fr Hubbard's infant son Caspian -

- why the confusion in attribution?
