Madeleine Mystery Solved

Post by PeterMac on 27.10.14 16:58

A train of thought from a tweet.

No one entered the apartment via the front door, nor the window, nor the patio door.
and no one went out that way either.
They didn't have to. Gerry was almost right all along.
The Abductor came through the wardrobe.
She picked Madeleine up, and then want back through the wardrobe - to Narnia.
That is where the gust of wind came from, and why it was so cold.
It was the White Witch.

The snow would have melted, and the back of the wardrobe closes so that no one else can see how it works.
"They've taken her" now makes perfect sense.
There is no point in searching, since no adult can enter Narnia.
All we can now hope for is that she is being looked after by Aslan

Ha, sounds more plausible than the Mccann's version of events...

Or maybe it was aslan himself. That would explain the smell of death as he died and then came back to life. Not sure if lion cadaverine smells the same as human cadaverine though. Better ask the dogs.

Aahh, yes,  but where is Narnia.

Jadis, commonly known during her rule of Narnia as the White [or blonde ?] Witch, is the main antagonist of . . . The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
She is the witch responsible for the freezing of freedom of speech Narnia resulting in the Hundred Year Winter.
The White Witch was born in Charn

Now look up where Charn - wood forest is in the UK . ! !
WIKI
Charnwood Forest is an upland tract in north-western Leicestershire, England, bounded by Leicester, Loughborough, and Coalville.
And includes Rothley !

Obvious, really !

For those who may be interested, some interesting background and allegory in link below in C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe:

Snipped from the article:

Later that night Aslan sneaks off (with Susan and Lucy following at a distance and watching) and turns himself over to the White Witch and her nasty crew of followers. He permits himself to be humiliated, beaten, and then killed with a stone knife put through his heart while tied to a stone table.

I wonder if Kate was influenced by the chronicles of Narnia when she had the "vision" of Maddie lying on a stone slab?

And let us never forget that Kate 'kept Vigil" on the first night, instead of joining the hundreds of people out searching.
Keeping vigil has a specific meaning associated with remaining in the presence of a recently deceased person, partly to protect the body from interference, on the physical plane
partly to protect the deceased on the Spiritual Plane from 'evil Spirits"
Hence the candles lit round the body (Outside, it was so dark . . .) and the rest of the ritual.

The birthday cake picture keeps popping into my mind here for some reason.
Was it put out as a reminder?

I really don't like that picture!!!!!!!!!
I believe it contains a "hidden" message to others.

all in my opinion only.

While beautifully detailed maps such as this one are available, why would anyone need to rely on a satnav?

I once posited a theory that Madeleine had gone outside to follow the giant cuddlecat in the sky but, as I now understand that all she had do was enter the wardrobe to join him, I'm wondering whether it was his daughter's presence Gerry detected when he sensed someone might be hiding in the apartment which, as i recall, was shortly after his much vaunted 'proud moment' and just before he set off for his unplanned rendezvous with Jez without looking to see if his suspicion was justified. .

"While Edmund continues his journey with the White Witch and the Dwarf, Mr. and Mrs. Beaver and the children walk in the direction of the eastern sea, enjoying the warm weather. They delight in the coming of spring, which feels like "a delicious dream." Finally, the climb a hill and reach a green, open clearing. In the distance, the sea twinkles. In the middle of this clearing lies the Stone Table, a slab of grey stone inlaid with strange lines and letters and set upon four upright stones. Music is playing, and a pavilion tent has been pitched."
