@palm tree wrote:Sorry, never said I believe the Monday or Tuesday scenario, but keep options open. The fact that there was nine people possibly involved, makes it even more unbelievable. IMO, the less knows, the better. There is one who wanted to tell more, but didn't then.
Meant to say Tuesday or Wednesday.

I tend to think that Textusa has it right. He maintains that the Tapas group were swingers along with other holiday makers in the Ocean Club add in a mix of cocaine use [alluded to in Panorama programme] and you have the potential to destroy the reputation of the professionals in the group.

I do not believe that the children were left alone .I believe Rebelo when he says that 7 of the 8th children were being looked after in one apartment. The 8th child , Maddie having died earlier in the week imo.

In swinging parties cocaine is often mixed with viagra for prolonged participation I have read. I will not post any links, but easy to find.
I have often wondered if Madeleine found any recreational drugs.

3a had been deep cleaned, bleached, curtains washed etc before the Thursday disappearance ,

So any "accident" how ever caused or inflicted must have happened on the tuesday - Wednesday

This would also give the scents time to develope for the dogs to find, not enought time if it happened on Thursday.

But why dope the kids on the Thursday? Why did they need to be asleep .......so they never woke to see daddy with a big blue bag?

So they would have no memory of anything that went on that night.
Even two year olds can recall specific things. In case they were asked, by the police, what they saw or remembered.

100% correct.
I just can't understand why all the people that have been involved/investigated have drawn a blank. (except GA)
Why is everyone so afraid - I don't think they can justify it's because they may be sued - If I was in charge of this case I would arrange a sting so that everyone of the T9 were brought in for questioning at the same time/day so they could not have a chance to confer. That's the only way they are going to get one of them to spill. It only takes one and the flood gates will open. (imo)

Will this become another "Jack The Ripper" of Victorian England case? which to date remains unsolved?
@DMML, actually, I just read yesterday that Jack the Ripper has been solved! 100% match on 126 year old DNA evidence, he is a man from Poland aparently!
IMO

Darn, heard the best is closed now! But still, 100% DNA match 126 years later, now that's something!
