So here I am once again in Barbados
The weather hasn’t changed the fact that friends throw wonderful parities and I’ve been to a few of them.  Cilla’s here, and I usually pick her up in my Ford F150 truck and we make “grand entrances” together.           I bet ,they like that still doing it.

One night recently some folks bid a quite a bit of money to have dinner with Cilla and me at my home, and then someone offered twice as much for me to get up and sing.

Somebody else immediately offered four times as much for him not to.   laughat

Cliff and his lawyer are doing an awful lot of foot stamping aren't they? I'm expecting sir.cliff to announce anytime 'but don't they know who l am?!!!'

I would have thought co-operating with the police and making yourself seen to be co-operating would be the best thing.

I've just been called a conspiracy theorist somewhere else for saying there's more than one allegation, 6 cops cars in a surprise raid says there's more than one unfounded allegation, even when l mentioned elm guest house and this Sheffield allegation l was still wrong. Some people are so stupid.

I think if the cops don't get anything sir.cliff is now going to try and ruin the future of the investigation by claiming witch hunt.

SIR Cliff Richard has cancelled a planned concert at Canterbury Cathedral after his home was searched in connection with a sex assault claim.
The veteran singer and committed Christian was due to perform in the Nave on September 26 but has pulled out in the wake of the allegations, said to involve a boy in 1985.
A spokesman said the 73 year old did not want the event to be "overshadowed by the false allegation".
He added: "He is sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience caused."

The star has strongly denied any involved in the alleged sexual assault after South Yorkshire and Thames Valley Police searched his apartment last week, while the singer was away in Portugal.
The event is listed on the cathedral's website as a "fundraising concert", and the Nave is due to be closed the day before for setting up.

Hmm. Cancelling an event that would have him in England in September. And despite his early assurances that he is prepared to return to answer police questions he, er, hasn't yet. Wonder why?

The Freedom of Albufeira...?

Post by missbeetle on 20.08.14 22:22

Cliff's had to pull out of a ceremony organised for Wednesday...

...awarding him the civic honour of The Freedom of Albufeira.

He's already got a street named after him :

(photograph clipped from Daily Mail article entitled "Sir Cliff Richard cancels second public appearance

in wake of child sex abuse allegations")

What a bummer...

Cancelled the Portugal ceremony too.

According to the news report he has lived in his holiday home for 50 years so this would have been a huge compliment to him. Very odd that he would miss this.

He doesn't t seem to want to leave his house and yet he has nothing to fear in Portugal.

So, we have a crime( possibly) commited in England. The police in England might at some stage want to question the person who lives in Portugal about what they may know about this crime.

Then, we have a crime of some sort commited in Portugal. The people who just might have a bit of information's about this crime  live in England.

Is there an easy answer to this problem?

If OG can' t bring in the main suspects for whatever reason, then could one country do some sort of deal with the other?

Probably not an option, I think I read far too many crime books!

I don' t really care how justice comes about in the end but in the end I just want justice. pray2

The Press simply quote what the lawyer says.
He may have shot his bolt if that is the best he can do

The more likely it is that a person will be lawyered up to the full extent of millionaires' capabilities
the more likely it is that a full Search Warrant will be applied for and

Paradoxical isn't it.  The very fact that Burton is there at all makes what happened almost inevitable.

‘They must explain why they were unable to contact Cliff Richard or his lawyers or agents.
If he did say that, then it is simply WRONG in law.
For a solicitor deliberately to mislead someone as to the state of the law is an EXTREMELY serious offence.  Striking off is appropriate.

It would require the Police/JP knowing he'd lawyered up for this purpose, and who that lawyer might be?
What his lawyer said is ludicrous beyond words.
Since when law enforcers contact alleged criminal's lawyer first before applying law?

Burton invents a loophole to try and nip this in the bud using an unprecedented method, but it risks backfiring big time if Burton is found guilty of interfering and/or attempting to aid client to stop evidence gathering process.

Quite so.
What he has said is ludicrous as well as being legally wrong.
If that is the best he can do, his client is not going to get much of a service.
The police must be chuckling quietly to themselves as his stupidity, and at CR's stupidity ingoing to the one who managed to get Clifford sent away.

He might have done better with a Young (er) One.

The Cilla Black Widow ?

Post by PeterMac on 21.08.14 16:34

Looking at the past cuttings of Priscilla White with various perverts, and her public support for others,
and her clear and stated disappointment - apparently that victims were believed in preference to other perverts
With friends and supporters like that, who needs enemies ?

Very similar to another couple who seem to have been befriended by people who think killing and chopping up your own child is a good thing to do
and that the Police are wrong to try to discover what happened, and that the legal system was wrong to convict and sentence
And who think that all police officers who seek the truth are wrong to do so
and who believe that dogs can be selective and vindictive . . .
and others who think that the best way out of a situation is to dig a far deeper hole by lying, on the record, on their behalf

Again, with supporters like that, who needs enemies.

If any ordinary person was seen in the company of paedophiles so often, the police would be keeping a close eye on them, and possibly questioning them about what they might or might not know about their "friends".

Ah, Jimmy'l fixit, preferential advisor, procurer and keeper of secrets, and his bosom buddy Charlie... in matching Tartan, such good buddies, They were wont to spend precious time together. As the sayings go... Like attracts like.... Birds of a feather stick together... A person is known by the company they keep.
Phil was raised by his known paedo uncle Mountbattered... Charlie spent a lot of time in his favourite company. Another old adage springs to mind here; the apple does not fall far from the tree.
There is another very true saying; Shit splatters fan

It is so strange... bearing in mind the stupendous personal wealth of the tax payer funded family business and security, they still manage to bestow honours on, and intimately socialise with the muck... How careless... The mind truly boggles. beware

Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it’s enemy action.

Cor Blimey! So many old hackneyed sayings that are still appropriate today, who would have thought it?

After the truth about Jimmy Saville began to come out, some people commented on the fact that his show 'Jim'll fix it' was almost like a reflection of his fixer nature as a sort of maffia Don person who could get this done, or pull strings amongst those in power. Is it too much of a stretch to find a similar theme with Cilla Black's two most famous shows: Blind Date and Surprise Surprise? They both placed her in the role of the 'fixer'.

A reminder of what seems to be an in joke about Jimmy Savile's activities.

This letter couldn't have been a surprise to him - he would have seen it in advance - so it's likely that he wrote it himself.

I get the impression with a certain infamous couple that some of their comments are creepy in jokes too.

Hi Research_Reader, I agree fully.

It is necessary to have a go between, or fixer to keep ones claws and image clean, what? I'm sure Saville had a lot of info on a lot of people, and was bestowed many favours for his silence and "help".
We know that Saville was royally rewarded, and had many favours 'from high up', we also know that he was s very successful fundraiser - no doubt it was not a great sweat for him to raise these funds - what with so many 'friends' in high places - as Jimmy'l fixit provided a wonderful access to children and charity screen to boot for all the nonces to take advantage of, and hide behind.

It is becoming more obvious that the low life abusers in the paedo clique protect each other, as each has dirt and compromising evidence on each other, not out of love or concern, rather they are bundled up together, and kept together by the collective fear of their evil deeds becoming public.
It is akin to a jersey that has started to unravel, and some are desperately trying to pick up the dropped stitches and mend it.

Just saw your post NFWTD, true, it seems so to me to - Almost as though they are sending messages to particular Individual(s). The photos they have made public give me this impression too.

I've just read this story in my local rag.

http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/11426488.Police_search_paedophile___s_home_and_shop/?ref=mr

I had to look twice at the photo to convince myself...

Police search paedophile’s home and shop
8:00am Friday 22nd August 2014 in News   By Finn Scott-Delany, Business editor

Police have carried out new searches of a home and business belonging to a jailed paedophile as part of a historic sex abuse investigation.
Officers searched the business address and home of Alyn Matless, 71, who was jailed in March for historic sex offences against four young girls.
Documents and communication equipment was removed from a business address in Goldstone Villas, believed to be M&B Domestic Appliances.
It is understood that items were also seized from his home in Old Shoreham Road, ,Portslade, in the searches which took place on August 1.
No arrests were made and the police yesterday refused to release any further information while investigations continued.
Matless was jailed for five-and-a-half years after he was found guilty of 21 offences, some of indecent assault and some of gross indecency with a child.
He abused four girls known to him between 1962 and 1989 who were aged between three and 12 in Hove and Eastbourne.
Matless opened the electric repair shop in 1983 and used his familiarity in the community to befriend victims’ parents and secretly abuse the youngsters.
Matless was put on trial last year but a jury failed to reach a verdict and he was freed.
He was eventually jailed on March 4 this year after being found guilty at a three-day re-trial.
